about me, the creator
*i’m a caregiver and advocate. for the last 8 years, night after night, i would either lay awake with my stressful thoughts, or be jarringly woken to the cries of my late mother, ailing father, and senior dog. this left little room for my own needs, including sleep health. one night, a brilliant idea came to me:
on our wedding night, still awake, out of no where, i began to write myself a bedtime story because i thought it may be the best way to help me finally get some rest. this is how slumberhaven came to exist. i began to care so passionately about this story that i spent months creating everything you now see here, because i’m sure if i could help myself, i can help others.
